The EMPACT course has been updated to include the American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. The EMPACT course directs participants to effectively use and rely on both critical thinking and decision making skills to effectively treat medical emergencies. EMPACT focuses on clinical assessment, differential diagnosis identification and the treatment of medical patients. Topics covered within the EMPACT curriculum include case-based scenarios focused on: Medical Patient Assessment, Airway Management, Shock, Cardiac and Respiratory Emergencies, Altered Mental Status just to name a few. This course will be held from 9am to 5pm. August 16-17th at Bargersville Station 201
